Aloo Gobi| Potato and Cauliflower Recipe| Vegetarian/Vegan



Aloo Gobi is a scrumptious vegetarian/vegan dish consisting of potatoes and cauliflower. Serve it with Indian breads reminiscent of chapati/roti/naan/paratha/poori and even with rice.

Substances for Aloo Gobi:
Potato – 500 g
Cauliflower -500 g
Onion – sliced, 2 cups
Tomato – chopped, ½ cup
Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Ginger paste – ½ tbsp
Cumin/ Jeera
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Crimson chilli powder – ½ tsp
Garam Masala powder – ½ tsp (non-compulsory)
Dry Mango powder/ Lime juice – ½ tsp
Kasuri methi/ dried fenugreek leaves – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves/ Cilantro – ¼ cup
Cooking oil (or butter/ghee) – three to four tbsp
Salt to style
Water – ¼ cup
